Finance Director
The Finance Director at the Clarksville Housing Authority (CHA) holds an executive-level management role, tasked with overseeing all financial decisions and transactions within the organization. This position involves managing the planning, analysis, justification, control, and reporting of fiscal resources, while also spearheading strategic management and planning initiatives. The Finance Director is responsible for establishing and enforcing long-range financial objectives, policies, and practices to maintain a sound financial structure. They oversee the accounting function, strategic planning, analysis, internal controls, and reporting for all financial matters within CHA. Additionally, the Finance Director evaluates the performance of the finance department staff, ensures compliance with HUD regulations, and maintains the accuracy of CHA's financial records. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring CHA's financial integrity and success.
Maintenance Technician
The Maintenance Technician at the Clarksville Housing Authority performs a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled tasks related to building and equipment maintenance. This role involves repairing plumbing fixtures, heating and cooling systems, floor tiles, doors, windows, locks, and roofs, as well as performing preventative maintenance tasks. Additionally, the technician assists with painting, cleaning vacant units, landscaping, snow removal, and other related duties as required. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, one to two years of experience, and preferably certifications in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or carpentry. They must possess good judgment, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in reading technical documents. Physical requirements include extensive walking, climbing, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 30 pounds individually and 50 pounds as part of a team.
